What is an evaporator?

The evaporator is mainly composed of two parts: a heating chamber and an evaporation chamber. The heating chamber provides the heat required for evaporation to the liquid, inducing the liquid to boil and vaporise, and the evaporation chamber is the component that separates the gas and liquid phases.

What is the condenser?

Condenser is a refrigeration system parts, but also a set of evaporator system in a component, condenser is mainly used to discharge heat, it can be gas or steam into liquid, the heat in a very fast way, exothermic.

Condenser working process a process of heat release, in the evaporation process, the vapour into liquid state of the device is also called condenser. All condensers operate by taking the heat away from the gas or vapour.

Difference between evaporator and condenser

From the above concept of evaporator and condenser, it is clear that the difference between the two is that condensers are mainly used to discharge heat while evaporators are used to absorb heat.

The difference between the evaporator and condenser is mainly the different forms of work, the evaporator is the medium to absorb heat for vaporisation to absorb external heat, while the condenser is to give the medium to cool down the liquefaction, external exothermic equipment.

Evaporator and condenser in the structure is also different.

In the evaporator design should be based on the whole system of evaporation, evaporation of materials and other selection design.

In the condenser design, should be divided into flow road, different road inlet should be as close as possible, the outlet should also be as close as possible, the import and export should also be as far away as possible, in order to avoid the loss of part of the heat transfer due to the loss of reheat, to avoid uneven distribution of flow.

In the actual design, if more than two ways, should use a centralised distributor and collector, as far as possible to make the flow between the different flow paths of uniform flow. The pipe length of different flow paths is preferably the same, and should flow evenly through the windward side and the leeward side to make the heat transfer uniform.
