Reactor System

I Definition

The Reactor System made by WHGCM refers to an integrated reaction vessel system with equipment, including one or more reactors, lifting and flipping devices, distillation column, filter tank, feeding tank, condenser, receiving bucket, chiller, weighing and feeding, temperature controller, constant temperature tank, circulating pumps, booster pumps, etc.

II Features

2.1 Structural features

The batch reactor is used in conjunction with various process control devices.
All the pieces of equipment are installed on a customized platform, which is closely distributed, occupies little space, with simple and beautiful structure.
Medium and large reactor systems are equipped with one or more intelligent controllers for perfect control of the reaction process.

2.2 Performance features

It is a further amplification of the function of the reactor.

2.2.1 Production type

Converts from batch to semi-batch, or continuous production.

2.2.2 Control mode

Converts from manual to semi-automatic or fully automatic control.

2.2.3 Safety Improvement

On-site operation can be converted to remote operation, and real-time data monitoring, with more security.

2.2.4 Installation and maintenance

All equipment needed are purchased, made, and installed by WHGCM, with unified standard, traceable equipment, and low maintenance cost.

III Classification

As per the number of parts and sizes, the reactor systems could be classified into three types:
The simple reactor system, pilot plant, and sequencing batch reactors 

3.1 Simple reactor system

It could also be called a lab reactor system, which is for reactor volume under 50 Liters. So, it is the smallest reactor system made by us.
The simple reactor system would consist of one reactor and several individual parts. Its work principle is simple and it is easy to operate.
This kind of reactor system is generally for distillation, hydrogenation, esterification, polymerization reactions, etc.

3.2 Pilot plant

The pilot plant usually consists of one or more reactors with large volume, complicated pipings that connect different equipment with various functions. It usually requires multiple layers of racks to support the equipment. The pumps and intelligent controllers are necessary parts as well
It is customized according to the requirements of the Process Flow Diagram offered by the client.
It is generally installed on a custom operating platform.
The production scale is from 200 liters to 1000 liters per batch, or semi-intermittent or continuous reaction.
The reaction is relatively complex, with a large number of reaction materials.
There are many parameters to be controlled, some of which need to be programmed by PLC for precise control.

3.3 Sequencing batch reactors

This is a device for continuous reaction of reactants with three reactors of more than 1000 liters designed as a whole and controlled centrally.
The reactors are connected in series through piping. Its structure, configuration, and control system can be customized.
The reactors are mounted on a platform for easy operation.
Optional control system:
It is able to realize automatic control, data acquisition, and storage of temperature, gas flow, liquid flow, pressure, sampling time, and other parameters during the test.
With automatic sampling gas chromatography online analysis function.
It has the function of alarming the abnormal working state of the system and automatic risk evacuation.
In order to ensure the safe operation of the experiment, the device has over-temperature, over-pressure sound and light alarms, and can automatically cut off the power supply of the equipment and stop the relevant circuits.
The automatic control system has a process flow chart, control flow chart, parameter setting table, real-time curve, and historical curve of each control point, and supports online printing records.
