What are the requirements for the use of chemical experiment reactor?
1. Preparation
Checking the equipment: Before use, the appearance of the reactor must be carefully checked to see if it is in good condition, including the kettle body, kettle cover, stirrer, seals, pipes, valves and other parts, to make sure there are no breakages, cracks, deformations or other abnormalities. For reactors with pressure and temperature sensors, also check whether the sensors work properly.
Clean and dry: Ensure that the inside of the reactor is clean and dry, with no impurities, residues or moisture. Use appropriate solvents to clean it if necessary, and dry it with a clean cloth or dry it naturally so as not to affect the experimental results.
Material preparation: according to the experimental requirements, prepare the required reagents, solutions, experimental equipment, etc., and ensure that their quality and purity meet the experimental requirements.
  2. Installation and commissioning
Stable placement: Place the reactor on a stable experimental table or ground, make sure the installation is stable and avoid shaking or tilting during use.
Connect the parts: Connect the power supply, water source, gas source and other pipelines, as well as the stirrer, temperature sensor, pressure sensor and other parts correctly in accordance with the operation manual, to ensure that the connection is firm, well sealed and without leakage.
Debugging instrument: open the control panel of the reactor, check whether the temperature and pressure indicators work properly, set the required temperature and pressure parameters and calibrate them. At the same time, check the operation of the stirrer and adjust the stirring speed and direction to a suitable state.
  3. Operation process
Standardised operation: operate in strict accordance with the experimental steps and operating procedures to avoid accidents caused by irregular operation. When adding reaction materials, add them slowly to prevent violent reaction or spillage.
Control parameters: closely monitor the temperature, pressure, stirring speed and other parameters during the reaction process to ensure that they change within the set range. If abnormal parameters are found, timely measures should be taken to make adjustments, such as adjusting the heating or cooling system and stirring speed.
Safety Protection: Wear personal protective gears such as protective glasses, gloves, lab coat, etc. to avoid direct contact with the reaction materials and prevent accidental injuries.
  4. Precautions
Material Selection: Select the suitable reactor material according to the nature of the reaction material, make sure the material can resist the corrosion that may occur in the reaction.
Prohibition: It is strictly prohibited to use the reactor with over temperature and pressure, and it is not allowed to carry out a large number of heat-producing or gas-producing reactions in the reactor, and it is prohibited to idle the reactor.
Sealing performance: regularly check the sealing performance of the reactor to ensure good sealing and prevent leakage. If the seals are found to be aging or damaged, they should be replaced in time.
Cleaning and maintenance: clean the reactor in time after each use, remove the residual reaction materials and dirt, keep the equipment clean and tidy. At the same time, regular maintenance and repair of the reactor, check the wear and tear of the parts, timely repair or replacement of damaged parts.
